Robots are inorganic, we aren't...ergo, we get rights, they don't. I hope it stays that way, so that life can be simpler. Although, some miscreants have already started down the unnecessarily convoluted path of blurring this distinction and have come up with a hybrid model for a robot (search "Biohybrid robot").
