When I saw the video title I was wondering how (if at all) the video would include a mention or digression to ANIMAL RIGHTS and thus veganism as the only acceptable lifestyle to strive towards if you dont want to be unnecessarily cruel to innocent (!!!) SENTIENT (!!!) "beings".
This video is pro-vegan. It is anti-speciesism. Speciesism is - in analogy to racism and sexism - a discrimination based on AN IRRELEVANT criteria (here it is species). DO YOU GET THAT THIS IS ALL COMES DOWN TO SUFFERING AND BEING HINDERED TO COVER THE MOST BASIC INTERESTS OF SENTIENT "BEINGS"? Being denied freedom or social justice or peace is ultimately bad because it causes suffering in you. THAT is the "objective" criteria for judging what can be ethically or morally right or wrong in any given situation. It all comes down to suffering!
I fear that the way (some/ many/ almost all) humans are going to treat sentient and/ or conscious A.I. is the next system of global discrimination based on irrelevant criteria (here it would be not being "natural" or "born" from a pregnant female). Future will tell...
