Even I could think of a way to automate the delivery service. Through some sort of thumbprint or facial recognition on the delivery vehicle. Even a card that is given out or a bar code that is printed out would be sufficient to authorize delivery of a package. The service would tell you what time to be outside your residence/business to pick up the package. You would be given a text when the vehicle is outside. The vehicle recognizes you, and spits out your package. All of this tech is available today in one form.
What is going to happen to those people who lose their jobs, is a much more important question to me. This is happening whether we want it to or not.
