It's not just truck drivers. Companies are now looking to automate anywhere they can in the name of profit margins. Lawyers, doctors, bankers, accountants, and many others also face a similar threat to their job security in the coming years. These jobs will not disappear completely, but slowly phase out, like with the secretary. We will still see them around, but far less in quantity and their role will drastically change to the level of an AI assistant/technician. We're in for a bumpy ride everyone.
