has anyone come out with the idea or any project been on the way that various AI areas may integrate into one single robot? I mean it's not easy to master more than two topics such as face recognition and robotic dynamics, but if there is a common SW/HW interface, best researchers will be able to work together and make the most incredible robot ever. Imagine a robot that naturally walks past you and say hello with a smile, isn't that more stunning than a head on a stick or a box on a skeleton? Moreover we human work as a highly conjuncted form, even the most different parts are related.
