No, this won't happen any time soon. AI can't drive safely yet, it has major problems. All those jobs wouldn't be lost even if they were replaced by AI (which again isn't going to happen), what would happen if the AI broke down or malfunctioned en route. There would have to be a service technician or mechanic/repairman of some sort to fix the AI or vehicle. One of the biggest problems with people thinking that AI will take over is that if they want it to happen, America needs a better education system to train those service technicians. So the people that would be out of jobs would be put in school (college or university) to become those same technicians. Considering how badly America is going down the shitter, the entire economic system for America would need to be deconstructed and reconstructed anew (Which means starting from scratch).
