When talking about this kind of subject, I am always reminded of a science fiction book i read, "Stories of Ibis", It consist a buncha short stories and one main story. While it focus more A.I. (as in data), not the robotics itself, there is a story about how those A.I. create a community in the internet and developed their own culture and idea, and slowly transition to having right, but not like the way we think.
I know is fiction. But to me, it felt like how it would have actually happen if A.I. really gain rights.
