If a robot is self aware, has interests, feelings, emotions, and goals in life, then they should have right like any other sapient being. It should be obvious. For robots planned to do manual labor such as manufacturing and what not, just keep their a.i. Simple so that the dont become self aware. Human beings and all carbon based life forms are technically glorified machines anyways. Sapient robots should be treated the same as you and i and maybe one day man and machine will merge together into one race.
