What if it was an avoidance algorithm using quantum physics? Or how about your car's computer sees a large vehicle so it chooses not to tailgate it? Or it sees that it's boxed in so it automatically slows down? The example given is the sort of bad situation a careless driver would thoughtlessly put themselves into.
