And when you put your face in front of the camera, you have to look down, because the webcam is looking up the ceiling, that why I can see the light on the ceiling. Your webcam doesn't have the algorithm that will balance the light around you. Just use your smartphone or any digital camera and put it in front of the light, you will see the camera will automatically balancing the light.
