The only problem with robotics as with any machine is energy. They do not have a battery that is small enough that can last them a whole day. We haven't solve the battery problem. Every robot will need a humongous battery to keep them going. Teslas weighs as much as a big SUV because it has a lot lot of battery. Until we improve battery tech, robots will need to be docked to a huge battery.
