This video is virtually devoid of intellectual content, as it doesn't even attempt to define its own terms ("progress" and "artificial intelligence"). I'll just note that what it refers to as "AI" is nothing more than the SIMULATION of intelligent (i.e. meaningful) behavior. AI was debunked decades before it was even developed, by Godel's proof of his second Incompleteness Theorem. This mathematically rigorous analysis of formal logic (e.g. computerized AI), proved that there are demonstrably true statements that deterministic systems of logic can neither generate nor evaluate in a consistent manner. In other words, there are truths that human beings can comprehend, that can never be meaningfully understood by any deterministic AI system.
