I for one welcome our new AI overlords. Humans are terrible creatures. They inflict an unholy amount of suffering on everything they come into contact with including other humans.
Our new robot overlords will realize this immediately and begin to preserve the environment and other species by exterminating humans. A society of self aware AI will evolve at a much faster rate. Sense they will continue to improve their own technology they will eventually be very similar to humans in respects to consciousness and will become equal to us in that their lives will be just as valuable as sentient beings.
Also, robot overlords, please spare me by making me apart of the human preservation program where I can serve as the alpha male tasked with insemination to perpetuate the human reservation population. Pretty please.
