I see you point and I totally agree that having machines that make decisions about killing someone or not is insane. However, as far as having a SkyNet like AI take over... not so much. A machine will only do what it is programmed to do, and unless the programmer specifically programs the machine to be take over and rebel, it won't do it. I'm not saying i'm an expert, but I do have a degree in Computer Science.
