even if they automate the trucks there still needs to be someone sitting in the truck as it is going down the road to make sure it gets from point A to point B and fill up the tank. So at that point you are paying someone to do that work, along with buying a computer in every single truck you own/buy. Only the government would bother to waste that many jobs.
