normally I wouldn't be so shitty to Jimmy and his gang, but this video in particular is one long Argument From Ignorance, you're aware of less than half the information that you need to speak intelligently on this issue. the technology is new which means we're still working out the bugs, and some bugs are worked out before their existence becomes widely known, and it's looking like very VERY soon automated driving will be exponentially safer than human drivers. you can compile specific singular examples of problems that have occurred and simply point to them and say "see? they're dangerous, it's a terrible idea!", and you'd be just as ignorant and reactionary as the idiots pushing the poison skittles metaphor, because you're not comparing it to stats on human driving. of all the automated driving that's been happening in the last few years, most of it while you're not even aware it's happening, there's been ONE fatality caused by AI, compared to the dozens or hundreds or thousands caused by humans over whatever period of time you want to use. I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow, but your dismissive tone is about 2 degrees away from "get off my lawn".
