nope I don't, I was surprised by my own brain and behavior too as it goes against all common advice but my last layoff IRL-tested my model and it works for me I asked ChatGPT and it basically said I had several things going on that was true for me, but was probably untrue for most people 1 was I received a pretty solid severance pay, given my monthly expense that severance pay alone was enough to last me for nearly 1.5 years state unemployment insurance kept me afloat for several months shutting off dividend reinvestment also kept the cash coming in my willingness to downgrade my lifestyle was one and my willingness to leave USA entirely to return back to my home country was also a big one aka, in job loss, most people are thinking how much money is needed to maintain current lifestyle = need emergency fund, I'm thinking what things to cut out of my life to maintain my stock portfolio/not needing to sell, those are actually 2 completely different priorities and objectives
