I think Anthropic buys compute from Google (and Amazon). Or at least they are prominently featured on Vertex/Antigravity/Google AI platforms as a model you can use. So I'm sure the $40b came with strings attached that it has to move back into GCPs top-line. We really are in a wonky timeline where you can build an infinite Jenga tower by moving all of your bottom pieces to the top.
