Many are fine with the tech (even my boomer family members can handle most fine). It's the lack of actual ownership, the poor build quality, and the dodgy surveillance capitalism that's a turn off. The subscription for everything is getting exhausting for a majority of folks, and things not lasting worth a damn just augments why its frustrating.
