Go to r/technology and read the comments on a post about data centers or AI. The anti-data center folks incessantly complain about pond cooling too.
Ha, don’t realize what sub I was actually in. I’ve had them tell me that evaporative cooling cooling towers weren’t a thing and that closed systems that don’t use water as a consumable or ponds are the real problem. I hope they were bots.
