I assume they just shut down that warehouse and add a day of delivery to anything within that radius. It’s pretty simple really. Alternatively, they can just refuse to come to an agreement with them, let them strike and definitely, and service that market with other warehouses in the immediate vicinity. On one hand, Amazon probably needs to figure out unions because they are literally out of human beings to hire who have not already worked for them, who are willing to work in a warehouse in many of the US markets. On the other hand, they’ll probably just prioritize fully robotic automated warehouses with a specific location first.
