I'm not suggesting your experience isn't 100% accurate; but I will say that, for the last several years, my big tech employer keeps recording HUGE performance gains from AI... But only in the specific measure they are tracking. So we have a pretty chart that shows we are doing XYZ 500% faster....but that still hasn't translated to anything customers actually care about... because some other task somehow manages to take 485% longer.
