I’m sorry, but that is nonsense. Billionaires are not creating anything, they *own* things (meaning they *control* it). They can own things because they inherited wealth from their parents. Workers build. Researchers invent. The AI models we see today are all based on research at universities in the 1900s done with public funding. But researchers back then didn’t have the computer power, and more importantly: training data, to make the models practically useful. What has changed (besides Moore’s law) is that big tech monopolies, like Google, realised they now own compute (datacenter) and training data (that they stole from users and the internet) to train large scale neural network models. We need to get rid of these “kings” who control important resources like oil, media and AI and put it under democratic control. It is the only way to make things better.
