AI is targeting the top 10% of earners first and foremost... The people that will reap the benefits of AI are the top 0.1% of *wealth holders*, not earners. AI as it is isn't an elite generalist, but there's a pretty good consensus amongst people in unprotected white collar professions that AIs that are trained specifically to replace their professions are at the very least sufficiently increasing productivity that people are getting fired, and hiring for juniors in these fields are down over 70%. Its only a matter of time before they come for law, medicine and engineering. They will backdoor it and then lobby to have it legalized, just like Uber. The 10-0.5% are this group, and the reason their labour is targeted is specifically their work is expensive enough to warrant spending the money to automate it
