Back in the day - early Apple Maps - I asked it for directions to a big box store. It gave me directions to… an in construction lot, which was up a hill and in a little forested area. Not the big box store (which it claimed was there) Now, we could see the big box store from the top of this mountain: it was down the hill, across a 6 lane highway, and inside a shopping plaza. Apple Maps got slightly better a year later, then really improved. But that first few years? It was hit or miss.
