Btw, gmail uses your data for training. You can disable “AI features” in settings but if you do, they completely disable google search features (they even label the pre-LLM search features as AI). Essentially they punish you for trying to disable their humanity-robbing machine.
I have an iPhone so the basic mail search still works and that’s what I use, the web version is unusable. I’ve contemplated moving to an email provider in Switzerland or something
