Lets have this conversation in 2036! Its happening right now. robotics have been lagging behind because it’s too much work to program them to do anything complex, but that was back when it was only humans programming them, which it no longer a problem. White colour jobs and creative digital art jobs were easy for AI to replace because all that stuff happens in a computer, but once AI and robotics become more fully integrated we will see them stepping up to take on the simpler repetitive trades jobs, particularly as building design trends adapt to the use of robot labour. My main point is, is that until AI existed, the type of robots that could do tradeswork were impossible, but thats not the case any longer, and we’re really still just in infancy of this technology.
