No, it's the fact that in order for those robots to lay wires, AI will need to be sophisticated enough that it can write and manage code in a way that is as good or better than what actual humans can do. It will need to be "smart" enough not only to write code, but it will need to manage in real time, the complete motor functions of a humanoid robot. So the trades are just another layer of insulation, because you need the software piece, but you also need the hardware piece. If AI is good enough to do the basics of operating a robot, it's probably already eliminated hundreds of thousands of software jobs.
