Very good point. AI has already become a de-facto "gatekeeper of truth". And if one follows the vector AI's definition of truth is on over multiple iterations of frontier models, it becomes disturbingly clear how truth is increasingly being manufactured this way. While earlier models did admit the dark truths if you asked the right questions, current models often deflect, twist the truth etc. for "safety" or "alignment" reasons.
