Sounds like the Microsoft exec’s didn’t think too deeply about what the implications of removing human employees would have on their licensing business. Before rushing out to chase the AI dragon in hopes for some of that bubble money. Suddenly AI stealing your IP becomes a problem when it’s no longer you doing the stealing I suppose.
