Raw LLM Responses

Today and in the future AI will be equally useful for the people that learn to utilize it. Regardless of whether we are talking CEO, customer service rep, or unemployed.  The idea that AI only benefits corporate CEOs is incredibly false. Fear mongering is tricking people into avoiding AI, but in the future it will be the people that didn’t learn to utilize it that will be obsolete.  Most of what people are calling AI these days are just LLMs which is like an advanced search engine with a voice.  The primary benefit today comes in saving time. A good example: I can put “I want to take a 7 day vacation with a maximum one way drive of 10 hours from xxxxxx, Texas. I want to go hiking, kayaking, camping, antiquing and visit a few bars while time there. Recommend me places?”  I can copy/paste that prompt in chatGPT/copilot/Gemini and have three different responses immediately.  I can reply with “compare popular attractions and activities at these places. Specifically compare hiking trails, kayaking opportunities, camping availability, and weather. “ copy/paste that into all three and get a good variety of responses.  I’ve planned vacations that were packed full of activities from start to finish using AI in less than 10 mins.. Researching it and planning it myself would take 4-5 hours to get the same results.  It’s a life changer, but it’s in its infancy.. the real benefits to LLMs will probably take a decade or longer to manifest and will require significant advancement in robotics as well.  It is true that eventually AI will be able to do many human jobs, but it also stands to reason that many services such as healthcare could be drastically more accessible as well
