Tbh I have nothing to be excited for in the future.
It really seems we are dwindling as humanity in a weird dark age, you may read about certain advancements, but they are somehow just far out of reach and nothing more than a promise on paper mentioned on a news site you have trouble to distinguish between AI slop or pure propaganda or it is really real.
At the same time people occur more aggressive, hostile to strangers and an overall increase in questionable right-wing politics.
And all this happens while my family and my friends including me are more and more in some kind of survival mode and struggle to keep a roof over our head.
