Same at my job, one of my colleagues -not at all a coder- made a great little vibe-coded tool that solves a small but annoying problem. Uses by 5 people for one small thing, it's great.
Management saw it and told my colleague to roll it out to everyone to great fanfare (because it's such an amazing use of generative AI). He did and now the tool is unstable, people mess it up constantly and he can't entertain even one feature request because it's all spaghetti.
