That's completely missing the real issue, which is that Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and Co. have exclusive control over the algorithm in the first place. That is what you need to regulate, i.e. allow third party clients and make any kind of blocking of those illegal, so users can themselves decide how they want to view the messages.
