I did a deep dive on this stuff at one point to see if I could figure out anything about these kinds of posts, and the ones I was able to trace back to authentic accounts mostly originated in foreign countries known for high rates of H1B1 applicants. Those countries also have very low education standards, routinely force 80+ hour work weeks, and heavily use Ai tools in spite of errors, structural flaws, or other issues that they cause. I don't think it's some Ai conspiracy, I think it's people making agents with Ai tools. They can use the agent to showcase their abilities, and if it happens to discourage just a few more CS grads that would have some, albeit a negligibly small impact on their chances of landing their ticket to the U.S.
