Yeah pretty much. I had a post about how I don’t understand how people are using AI in real work and I got so few examples of people using it beyond bootstrapping new projects. But I got a ton of “You’re using it wrong bro. You need to be using codex 6.7 or whatever the fuck. It’s revolutionary.” And then they would proceed to not describe how it’s actually useful day to day, just that I need to treat it like a junior engineer somehow? Like great we have a bunch of environmentally destructive robot junior engineers who will never level up to seniors now and will take the jobs of actual people.
