You folks need to understand ONE thing:
AI is an impact multiplier. That’s it.
What that means is that a shitty employee can now wreak multi X damage when they are hired / given responsibility by clueless managers (who do you think that is in this scenario?).
I can guarantee that this employee WAS a shit engineer without AI. I can also see that you don’t have a framework for telling a competent employee from an incompetent one - which makes you rather incompetent as an EM/Lead, don’t you think ?
