There are a lot of clueless people who are vibe coding and merging AI pull requests without reviewing them or understanding them. Even if you are smart enough to not blindly rubberstamp AI code, a lot of other people will. The current group of AIs don't do clean structured code like a human would. This is going to lead to massive AI technical debt. There already have been outages at Amazon due to vibe coding failures, where the AI made a boneheaded mistake a competent human never would.
