3 is there a new tech? Pretty sure I wrote code for 4 different systems and a ton of service at the same job bc people thought whatever buzzword was gonna some great, revolutionary panacea that will cost a ton of money / time in training, development, and testing (also in whatever new testing framework). And then we'd still reach a stale state bc by the time we spent 150M$, we were left with a copy-paste-designed product with only enough tests to cover basic user stories that ran more slowly making 10000 service calls per click where people can't comprehend how async doesnt just automatically work with blocking / waiting functions and bypassing or reusing security creds.. / rant. Sorry, corporate life may have jaded me.
