I can’t believe how often this is parroted here. As an actual SWE in big tech I can assure you that many many many people’s jobs are being eliminated directly because of AI making other people more efficient. These recent models are unbelievably powerful and will directly results in hundreds of thousands of lower impact SWEs being laid off
