That's not entirely accurate. They get a version called ChatGPT Go or something like that. They get some, but not all of the paid features.
Also, I don't really get what your point is. There are plenty of reasons to be mad at OpenAI. Giving free service to a literal 3rd world country is not something that I feel any kind of negative emotion about, nor would it be a reason to cancel my subscription.
That being said, I did cancel it, because without the 4 series it's pretty much worthless.
