I might get downvoted for this, but I always assume tech companies engage in some form of mass surveillance, so mass surveillance isn’t what did it for me.
It’s the autonomous weapons. Obviously killing is already wrong when a human does it, but to make it so AI can make those decisions seems utterly monstrous to me. You’re telling me, ChatGPT, the ai we constantly catch hallucinating, is now going to determine who lives or dies?
I can’t fucking support that.
