If you ask google gemini AI, it will admit that google works directly with the US government now. It will also tell you that from a privacy viewpoint, you should be skeptical of gemini.
Brave is much better imo.
If you get tired of AI, firefox in the next update will have an AI kill switch feature. Remember AI always goes through someone else's server. You can also set Brave Search to be the default in Firefox or Firefox privacy forks like Librewolf.
