You don’t want to read this… just skip or down vote. The truth is Gen Z is very entitled they mostly want to talk about how much they hate their employers and how work life balance is key. Many want to WFH but not really work. If you don’t believe me go check the sub over-employed. So now they have to compete with earlier generations who have been in the corporate world and know the deal. Not just know the deal but understand that 2 years of experience is not going to get them a $100k a year salary. The employers are not dumb either (Gen Z thinks the employer is dumb) but they know they have options… (1) earlier gens (2) automation (3) offshoring. Why would they need to put up with shining Gen z’ers? I am not a boomer but go ahead and call me that. I have been called worse. But I have been working since I was 12. So I know a thing or two about what employers want.
