Hey u/myasco42, Varonis researchers behind this discovery here. Copilot implements several safeguards to prevent sensitive information leaks and make an attacker’s job more complex, but we were able to bypass them by asking twice. the safeguard to prevent information leaks only applies to the initial web request. Subsequent requests appear to bypass this protection, which is likely a performance-driven decision. Therefore, specific instructions can be added for Copilot to perform each task twice.
