People cannot fathom how bad it is. I'm a middle school teacher, I can tell you the situation is fucking dire. They cannot do anything without Ai or copying and pasting from articles. God forbid you ask them to write anything in their notebooks.
I sympathize with this professor. Unfortunately lecturing children does absolutely nothing for them.
