In my anecdotal educational and career experience, I have seen a shift occur, even without AI, from a time where students understood the need for learning to occur, at least in their degree specific courses, to students only considering the grade received as the end goal. There are a whole lot of people with very good transcripts that can't do a damn thing in their career field. I'm left wondering when this bubble will pop and what the fallout will look like. Is this a US thing or global? Bc if the former, then the US will simply be left behind, and our current political situation will hasten this.
