I notice that any reddit thread on topics that I'm actually really knowledge about, the top comment will *always* be written with an extremely confident tone, but wildly inaccurate. It's kinda funny and ironic considering that redditors criticise AI for that exact tendancy. Anyway, this is to say that I stopped taking anything I read on reddit that is extremely upvoted seriously a long time ago. I assume that the people pompous enough to be aggressively pushing their opinion on a topic aren't actually experts in their field. If they were, they'd have better things to be doing.
