The thing is, people need to stop taking Reddit comments as a reflection of the real world. For example, if you look at major tech subs like r/technology, 99% are pro-Linux and hate on Windows and macOS. Yet Linux is only about 4% of the market share. If you were reading the sub, you would think Linux has 90% of the market. It's the same for AI, the reality on the ground is different. I work for a Fortune 500 tech company. Most of us here and the peers I know in the industry are on $200 plans for Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini paid for by our employers. No one is even questioning the use of AI anymore. It is just part of our workflow to assist with various random things.
