This is honestly a great comment, best I've read on the sub today. AI isn't going away like the anti-AI people would like. And, as much as I hate to say it, I don't know that AI is going to lead to a post-scarcity Star Trek future any time soon either -- people are just too selfish and mean to cooperate on that level. I have about 4 years of savings, give or take, to try to ride it out. I don't know if it's enough.
